  Welcome to the unofficial Dragon Code Builder. This JavaScript application is designed to make creating a Dragon Code a point-and-click process. Dragon Code is a special arrangement of numbers, letters, and symbols that can be used to describe the personal and physical characteristics of anyone, especially dragons, and is frequently used in the alt.fan.dragons newsgroup. The Dragon Code Builder is based on the Dragon Code 2.6 specification, and includes access to most of its functionality. Please send any bugs (how to make a useful bug report), suggestions, or criticism to my e-mail address—and tell me if you're ever unable to fully create a dragon code to describe yourself (even if it's not documented on the DC2 webpage).

  If you need to decode a Dragon Code, I suggest using the Dragon Realms DC2 Decoder.

Select your species in the bottom list and add it to the top list. If you are a shapeshifter, add all your forms. Use control+click in the bottom list for cross-breeds. If your species is not listed, see if you can find a general match (if you are a mammal choose Mammal (General)) and you can check the box to specify free text. If there is not even a close match for your species you can add a whole new species by clicking the blue link above.
